These terms govern your use of this website. They are not our product terms and they are not a services agreement, both of which are separate.

01About these terms

These terms govern your use of the CitaTech website at citatech.cloud. By using this site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

They do not cover our products or our client work. CitaPay and CitaTech POS are each provided under their own separate terms, accepted when you sign up. Client engagements are governed by the individual contract for that engagement.

02Using this site

You may browse this site and use the information on it for your own business purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure
  • Access it by automated means at a scale that degrades it for other users
  • Misrepresent your identity, or another person's, when contacting us
  • Use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages
  • Copy or republish substantial parts of the site as your own

We may restrict access to anyone who does these things, without notice.

03Information on this site

We describe our services and products as accurately as we can, and we check technical claims against our own source code before publishing them.

Even so, what appears here is a general summary for information. Product capabilities change as we develop them, and nothing on this site is an offer, a warranty or a contractual commitment. Anything binding will be in a signed engagement contract or in the terms of the relevant product.

Availability figures shown on this site reflect live checks made at the moment the page was rendered. They are indicative and are not a service level guarantee.

04Enquiries

Submitting the contact form does not create a contract or a client relationship between us, and it does not oblige either of us to proceed.

Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive information through the contact form. If we need that in order to scope your work, we will agree a confidentiality arrangement first.

05Intellectual property

The content, branding, design and code of this website belong to CitaTech unless stated otherwise. The CitaPay and CitaTech POS names and marks are ours.

Product screenshots on this site show our own software. Third-party names or marks appearing within them remain the property of their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply endorsement or partnership.

You may link to this site, and you may quote short extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce the site or its design wholesale.

07Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on information published here, or from the site being unavailable or interrupted.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

08Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here at the time you use the site.

09Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction.
